Successful women build successful communities and we all benefit. A higher education is an excellent foundation for a successful life. Donating to our fund will further education for local recent high school graduates and women returning to school. Our fund provides college, technical school, and university tuition scholarships to women of all ages who are residents of Carmel Valley. Scholarship Grant amounts run from $1000- $6500 depending on the number granted. Scholarship funds are intended to be applied first toward tuition and any outstanding school-related charges on the student’s account at their school. If there are remaining funds the balance is paid directly to the student.
Any funds disbursed to the student may be used for education-related expenses such as books, transportation, and required school materials. We do not monitor or track how students spend these remaining funds.
The Foundation Scholarship Committee, made up of members of the Club, is responsible for the selection of the annual scholarship grant winners. They work in partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMCO) who provide a one-stop website for applicants. All applicants should apply through this website.
