Daniella Russo, CEO of Think Beyond Plastic, was scheduled to be our speaker this month. BUT this issue has become so important that she will be off in Nairobi speaking at the UN Environmental Assembly. We are fortunate that she will be sending Mary Rustad, Chief Operation Officer.

For over two decades, Marcy and her team have offered services to small and large businesses, as well as to educational institutions and nonprofits, giving her a breadth of understanding of the interplay between these various sectors that help to drive the economy.
Marcy also brings a passion for providing youth with quality education and for building the environmental leaders of tomorrow, as well as holding a high interest in helping to solve some of the most pressing environmental issues of our time.
Marcy’s professional experience includes starting and managing OMP Research Associates, which she has run for the past 20 years. Key clients have included industry giants such as Pacific Bell and Sun Microsystems, along with many start-up companies in Silicon Valley, high-end private K-12 schools across the western states, and more recently California State Monterey Bay, and a number of nonprofits focused on environmental initiatives and education. Prior director level corporate experience in the communications industry developed her expertise in business management, customer service, product development and project management.
Marcy has run non-profit organizations, she is the past President of the Board of MeEarth Foundation (US, CA) and actively participates in board leadership focused on environmental and educational initiatives.
Marcy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University East Bay and a Master in Business Administration from Golden Gate University."
Think Beyond Plastic harnesses the forces of innovation and entrepreneurship and basic market powers to do good, to develop solutions for the global plastic pollution crisis.
