The Carmel Valley Women's Club Foundation board met recently to decide if we should increase the number of directors on the board. It was decided to increase the number of directors from a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 9 to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15. At that same meeting, one new director was voted onto the board. There are a maximum of 5 open director positions. If you have ever thought that you would like to help with the philanthropic arm of the club, this is your chance. The board meets approximately once a month usually on the last Tuesday of the month at 4 pm. Meetings last between 1 and 1 1/2 hours, followed by an optional no host dinner at Los Laureles Lodge. More information on the responsibilities of the board can be found by reading the by-laws.
