Known as the “Island Boy” because of his Hawaiian birthplace, Jon Sutherland, husband of CVWC member Mary Sutherland, passed away in November at home in Carmel Valley. It is with deep sadness we offer sympathies to Mary and her family over his death. Jon was a keen sportsman, from football to outrigger canoeing. Jon was involved in retail and real estate in Honolulu and Carmel Valley. He and Mary moved to this area in 2001.
The CVWC will be sending a donation of $50 to the foundation of their choice in his honor .
