Grants and Scholarships

To direct your donation specifically to Grants and Scholarships, make a note in the "Comment" section when you donate

Education is one of the values that the CVWC members hold dear.  Providing college, technical school, and university tuition scholarships to women of all ages is a long tradition of the Club.  Scholarship Grant amounts run from $1000- $5000 depending on the number granted.  The grant is used for tuition, or in the event the grant exceeds tuition (such as at a Community College), the funds may be used for other eligible educational expenses such as books.

The Foundation Scholarship Committee, made up of members of the Club, is responsible for the selection of the annual scholarship grant winners.  They work in partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMCO) who provide a one-stop website for applicants.  All applicants should apply through this website.
