Our final event will be a Pumpkin Décor workshop on October 19th. Reservations are limited to ten members and a small materials fee is payable at the door.
At our October meeting, the Board decided to hold another fundraising Hoedown! The event last year was a big hit and we know we can make it even better. Peter Meckle has very generously donated the use of Hidden Valley on April 6, 2025. Save that date! Please start thinking about how you might want to contribute to the success of this fundraising drive / party. Our silent auction is going to focus on experiences and services. Can you donate a massage? A garden consultation? A stay in a treehouse? Tickets to an event? Are you good at decorating? Ticket taking? Cleaning up? We will be forming committees to handle all manner of activities required to pull this off – Marketing; Ticketing and Reservations; Food and Beverage; Decorating; Set up and Clean Up; Fundraising; Entertainment; Sponsorships and Donors; and Bar Tending.
Many hands make light work and we are lucky to have so many talented and generous members! Please feel free to contact me with any offers or questions.
